Lucy joined Lewis Lawyers in 2018 and became Partner in 2020.
She has extensive experience in advising clients on all aspects of business law, including the sale and acquisition of businesses, contract negotiation and preparation, finance, and commercial leases. Many of the matters Lucy works on have property and agricultural components and she also enjoys work in the areas of dispute resolution and legal research.
Lucy leads the firm´s Trust practice, that has its origins in private client work. Lucy´s work in this area is varied and consists of both establishing and winding up trusts for individuals and families. Lucy assists in the ongoing management of client´s assets and affairs and gives advice around diligent trusteeship.
Prior to joining Lewis’, Lucy worked in a company specializing in trusts and fiduciary services in Auckland and before that in the Chilean law firm Grasty Quintana Majlis, where she gained vast experience in joint ventures, M&A, compliance and all types of commercial transactions and investment matters.
Lucy currently serves as the Chair of Destination Cambridge.
